Vanessa Cuddeford is a newscaster currently at ITV's The West Country Tonight. Vanessa began her career at ITV Westcountry in Plymouth as a reporter for ITV's Westcountry Live - the regional news programme for South West England covering Cornwall, Devon, South Somerset & Dorset. The newscaster has also in the past, worked for ITN and as a correspondent for the now, defunct, GMTV. In 2010, Vanessa took over as lead female newscaster working alongside Steve Scott on The West Country Tonight. In May 2010, Scott left his position at ITV West/Westcountry to become sports editor for ITN. Scott was replaced by Ian Axton, who Vanessa now fronts the programme with, every weeknight, at 6pm on ITV1 West & ITV1 Westcountry. |
