V. Mahadevan

Venkatachalam Mahadevan (; 25 November 194306 June 2014), was a South Indian actor, entrepreneur and musician. He is still remembered for his memorable roles in various Tamil films like Maasilamani, Singam Puli, Irumbukkottai Murattu Singam, Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu, etc. Career V. Mahadevan was born in 1943 at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India to the South Indian Music Director K. V. Mahadevan. He showed ability in Carnatic Music and became a trained Mridangam player who accompanied many artists in the Madras Music Season. However, he is best known for his acting career. He made his debut as the Judge in the Tamil movie Maasilamani in 2009. Since then, he has acted in various Tamil films and has been well received. He was also a successful entrepreneur running a photocopy shop at T.
