UsedEverywhere.com is an online classified service of regional websites in Canada, the United States and United Kingdom. Founded in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in 2003 UsedEverywhere.com is owned by newspaper publisher Black Press Group Ltd. of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. History Mark Rainer and Stephen Chan founded UsedVancouver.com in 2003 to address landfill problems in Vancouver B.C. In an effort to reduce waste by helping population buy used rather than new. The addition of other Canadian sites for, Victoria, B.C., Ottawa, ON, Regina, SK and P.E.I. led to the rebranding as UsedCanada.com, and a 400% increase in overall traffic. Newspaper publisher the Black Press Group Ltd. purchased UsedCanada.com in 2008, renamed UsedCanada.com to UsedEverywhere.com and expanded the service to many of the locations where the Black Press Group Ltd. has publications in the United Kingdom and Northern British Columbia. Related Media * In February, 2014 the Victoria police department and UsedVictoria.com partnered to help return stolen property.
