United States Justice Foundation

The United States Justice Foundation is a , nonprofit organization based in Ramona, California. Its declared purposes are the pursuit of civil rights, civil liberties, and public protection (crime, courts, legal services, public affairs, and benefit to society).
The organization, founded in 1979, has been an amicus curiae in several lawsuits heard by the Ninth Circuit Court and the Supreme Court of the United States. Former California State Senator Tom McClintock issued a press release in 2001 commending its challenge to electricity contracts approved by California Governor Gray Davis. The group has opposed various aspects of California public schooling, including newer educational assessments and Day of the Dead activities. Its executive director, Gary Kreep, represented Alan Keyes in a November 2008 challenge to President-elect Barack Obama's US citizenship.
