Uncle Gamer Radio

UncleGamer Radio is a video game centered independent podcast and community site. The podcast is part of a larger community called the Gamercast Network, which networks multiple independent podcasts together. As of December 2007, the podcasts normally have two hosts, Parris and Jay.

Humble Beginnings
The podcast initially aired in August of 2006. The first episode was hosted by Parris and Robbie, who at the time referred to themselves by their Xbox Live gamertags, Vicious696, and Liquilife respectively. Jay, one of the current hosts, was not introduced six months later, when he appeared in Episode 20.

In December of 2007, Robbie left the show for reasons unknown. While the two hosts did not go into detail, Jay and Parris mentioned that his departure was due to family and health reasons, although speculation into his quick departure has started many plausible rumors on the site.

During the first episode it is revealed that Paris had worked on a previous podcast, but the name of it wasn't revealed until later in the shows history. After their second podcast, the third episode didn't air until mid October due to complications in scheduling.

In Episode 10 Uncle Gamer announced their merging into the Gamercast Network. They invited JVB from podtacular, and Keith from The Video Game Show to formally bring them in.
