uCoin is a cryptocurrency that uses the blockchain concept that is introduced by Bitcoin. It uses cryptography such as digital signatures in order to create digital currencies. However it has different principles than Bitcoin like the Web of Trust and the Basic Income. UCoin has a theory behind named Relative theory of money. This theory claims that every currency which respects individual's economic freedom, it must implement the Basic Income. This is the only way to avoid spatial and temporal asymmetry toward money issuance. Ucoin is a nomic coin (a Monnaie Libre) because the members of the coin community decide about the rules of the coin. |
