Overview Uber is an award-winning integrated creative agency based in Sheffield South Yorkshire, England. They specialise in all aspects of creative advertising, brand development, design and digital, as well as production services for all areas of television, radio and print. History The company was founded in December 2003 by Greg Clark (Managing Director), Richard Benjamin (Managing Director) and PJ Broadberry (Financial Director). Each partner had extensive experience and success in the world of advertising. The agency began with 12 staff and now has 19 (as of 2009). Uber have specialisms in the entertainment industry, working heavily with the video games and movie industries. They also work extensively in the retail sector with some of the UK’s biggest high street brands. Their recent expansion into the electronics sector along with strengthening their internal digital department shows an agency with much variety. Awards The Uber team have won a series of awards over the past few years such as Fresh, Cream and Chip Shop Awards. Accolades In March 2009, Uber were named as Campaign Magazine's No.1 Regional Agency<ref name="campaignlive.co.uk"/>, and as well as being in the Top 30 Creative Agencies in Marketing Magazine. Uber are also on the Recommended Agency Register for the second year running.
