The Rebound was a toy RC Car sold by Tyco R/C during 1990s and 2000s. Versions Rebound - side one - side 2 The original Rebound was released in the mid-90s. It featured an invertible design, with a sports-car like body on one side and a truck-like body on the other side. It used 6v rechargeable battery. The battery had to be charged for 8 hours and would last 20 minutes. The range of the car driving radius was cca 50 meters. A product which is basically extinct. Super Rebound The super rebound was modified in the late 90s to have one axle capable of spinning a complete 360 degrees. It was the first car from Tyco to use a TMH Flex-Pack battery. The battery provided the super rebound with around an hour of fun, while having to be charged for 4 hours. Micro Rebound Tyco released a mini version of the Rebound in the late 90s. Air Rebound In the early 2000s TYCO again modified the design of the Rebound by making the 2 front wheels into one large wheel that could be filled with air. Rebound Re-Release The Rebound was released again in 2002 for a short time. Sales were poor and the car was dropped again. Rebound Superbike In the mid 2000s TYCO released an RC Motorcycle under the Rebound name. It is currently available at toy stores. Stunsters The only RC car available from TYCO that resembles the original Rebound is a mini version that is smaller than the Micro Rebound. It is still available for sale.
