Description Travelworks is a tour operator based in Germany. Travelworks provides working holidays and gap-year breaks for German students who want to explore foreign countries, cultures and languages by working either for salaries or as volunteers. Travelworks' homepage, which is taken care of by the agency "Brandung" is password protected, some former customers have published reports that are openly acessible. Especially going to Australia and work there is still as popular as it was already back in 1976 when the Australian-German TV series The Outsiders showed German TV star Sascha Hehn exploring the Outback, taking on different jobs wherever he went. Since January 2011 they also offer young British travellers comprehensive working holiday support in Canada. The company was formed in June 2001 by carpe diem Language Holidays GmbH, Thomas Meier and Janine Wegman to assist Corporations in containing travel costs.
