Toyin Anthony Amuzu (TA)

Toyin Anthony Amuzu  (born 6 April 1976) is a Nigerian politician and a member of the (PDP) Nigeria. Prior to his entrance into politics, he is a Nigerian entrepreneur, a realtor, an Estate Developer who is breaking new grounds in building Construction and management.

Early life
He started his early life in Ibadan, where he attended Sacred Heart Private Primary School. He later attended Saint Gregory's College, Lagos State for his secondary Education before gaining admission to study Accounting at the Edo State University. He later proceeded to the University of Hull, United Kingdom, where he obtained his MBA. Having studied outside his homestead, he has since returned home to Abeokuta.
Personal life
Toyin Amuzu's capacity for compassion is a dedication, Inspired and guided by scriptural instructions that “whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whosoever is kind to the needy honours God”. His personality is well written about in the Independent newspaper where an article, "About Chief Toyin Amuzu's love for humanity" describes him.
The creation of his non governmental, not for profit, charity organisation known as Toyin Amuzu Foundation was borne out of the need to alleviate poverty and reduce the sufferings of his people. The Foundation which has supported the elderly by providing food items and other gifts , also donated bignotes exercise books and jotters to students to support education. Over 1000 face shields and 1000 hand sanitizers with various food items were given out during the period of COVID-19 pandemic to curtail the spread. The 60th anniversary of Nigeria was celebrated by the TA foundation with gifts, which include food items, free fuel vouchers, jotters and many more. The TA foundation also sunk a borehole in Igbehin, the homestead of Toyin Amuzu. Other places like Kuto, Kugba, Oke-Ijeun and Oke-Itoku have also benefitted water projects from the Foundation.

The Toyin Amuzu Foundation at present is already planning the disbursement of free interest loans to support small and medium scale Entrepreneurs in Abeokuta South local government.
Chief Toyin Amuzu, TA, is also a public commentator and social critic. He is always ready to put Government on its toes towards ensuring a better Nation where citizens' lives are secured , where their rights are protected and their well-being are guaranteed.
Some of his comments on national issues are evidences of his love for the people and his patriotic zeal for a better society.

Political life
Toyin Amuzu (TA) entered politics in 2013 when he supported the Ogun State Labour Party, LP,  under the leadership of a former governor of the State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel before moving back to the , PDP, where he registered fully as a member and has remained till date. He lost his bid to represent his Party at the State House of Assembly on the platform of the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP), when he won the Primaries on October 3, 2018, but could not contest due to the legal disruption caused by the Late Buruji Kashamu and the power tussle in the Party. 
TA has remained consistent in his belief that the is for the people and can better serve the interests of the people, looking at years of experience and the many people oriented programmes and policies enshrined in the ideology of the Political Party. He is an ardent follower of Chief
Oladipupo Olatunde Adebutu who is a leader in Ogun State PDP.
Career
Due to his doggedness and determination to excel, he combined schooling with working. He started at the Popular Obalende Suya Restaurants owned by his Uncle, Mr Tokunbo Odebunmi, in the United Kingdom. His love for cars turned into a passion which culminated into purchase of vehicles for friends and family members. This later gave birth to the defunct Komms Car Company, which specialised in the purchase, repairs and sales of cars. He later moved into the Real Estate business, purchasing lands and developing it to a comfortable accommodation, for outright sales. Today, he is breaking new grounds in building construction, management and development in the real Estate Sector.
