Torry Lewis

Torriel Deyon Lewis, (Born September 9, 1983) is an American Politician and adjunct professor of political science. Torry is currently running for the Atlanta City Council against Cleta Winslow.
Biography
Torry Lewis is a graduate of Savannah State University where he was a member of, Alpha Phi Alpha, the SSU Golf Team, and a delegate to represent Lichtenstein at the Harvard Model United Nations Conference in Endinburgh, Scotland. He has worked as a contracted Office of Personnel Management background investigator for USIS and in several loss prevention positions at companies such as Saks 5th Avenue and Neimnan Marcus. In addition to Savannah State University, Lewis as earned a Masters of Public Administration from Kennesaw State University and is completing a PhD in Political Science at Clark Atlanta University.
Political Career
Lewis has also run for the Georgia State House of Representatives and lost by under 100 votes to Pedro "Pete" Marin. Lewis was endorsed by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
