Toronto 2024 was one of the 2024 Summer Olympics bids for the 2024 Summer Games, and was to be held in Toronto, Canada. The bid was announced at November 11, 2013. The IOC will select the host city for the 2022 Winter Olympics at the 129th IOC Session on 2017. Previous bids Toronto bid to host the 1996 Summer Olympics and 2008 Summer Olympics but lost to Atlanta, Georgia and Beijing. Toronto the host of 2015 Pan American Games. Previous bids from other Canadian cities Montréal bid to host the 1944 Summer Olympics, 1972 Summer Olympics and 1976 Summer Olympics but lost to London, Munich and winning bid.
