Tony Muilenburg

Anthony (Tony) Muilenburg is a professor at Portland State University specializing in validation, machine learning, and computer vision. He is known for developing validation curriculum, developing education hardware while at Intel Corporation, teaching at the graduate level, and for creating video tutorials for machine learning and computer vision.
Education
Tony graduated from Portland State University with both BS and ME degrees in computer engineering. His PHD research at PSU is in machine learning, with Marek Perkowski as his advisor.
Professional work
Tony developed the material for PSU's ECE510 course titled: Post Silicon Electrical Validation. While at Intel, he and a team of four others co-developed a hardware platform called Education Engagement Electrical Validation Board (E3VB) which is used in engineering education.
Tony has developed video tutorials for machine learning and computer vision. These tutorials include OpenCV, Visual Studio, Ceemple, facial recognition, image tracking, neural networks, and TensorFlow. The material is hosted on opencvtutorials.com and YouTube.
Early work included autonomous robotics, nano electronics, and group artwork using micro-controllers and sensors.
