Steve G. Jones

Steve G. Jones (1967-) Steve G. Jones was born on November 27, 1967 in Washington D.C.. He spent the his childhood in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Currently works and resides in Savannah, GA. A practicing Clinical Hypnotherapist and author of over 70 different books, recordings and publications about hypnosis, self awareness and the power of attraction. Has performed hypnosis on Hollywood celebrities, including Danny Bonaduce, former child star.
Life
After graduating from high school in the mid 80’s, Jones began studying cognitive psychology at the University of Florida. Early in his career, he counseled both individuals and families while completing his degree in psychology. He later published a majority of his early findings in psychology journals. He uses hypnosis techniques within sales training.
In addition to his teaching in the United States, Jones has traveled the world and taught Hypnotherapy in such countries as Japan, Canada, Mexico, Spain and France.
Jones is a director of his own school of hypnotherapy and founder of the American Alliance of Hypnotists, and a board member of the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Lung Association, and a member of a number of hypnosis-related associations. He is also a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, Pi Lambda Theta, Golden Key International Honor Society and Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Honor Society.
Education
Jones has an extensive academic background in psychology and education including M.Ed. specializing in adult education at Armstrong Atlantic State University, B.S. psychology at the University of Florida, and is presently studying for a doctorate in education at Georgia Southern University.
Work
Jones commenced a private hypnotherapy practice in 1986, covering psychological issues and professional coaching.
Both he and his work have been shown on network television and other outlets including Fox News, CBS , NBC and TruTVas well as radio, podcast and Savannah Now.

Awards
Jones received the following award recognizing his accomplishments in continuing adult education AAACE (American Association for Adult and Continuing Education), President’s Appreciation Award, 2007.
