TONY MAIETTA just caught my attention-and kept it-throughout TCM's 'Moguls & Movie Stars.'
The series is well-written, full of great clips. It's interesting and educational with plenty of well-informed spokesmen but TONY MAIETTA stood out every time he appeared on screen. This guy brings his passion of film to the screen, and it's infectious. I've never 'gotten' silent film until hearing Mr. Maietta speak with such spirt, zeal.
I grew-up in Glendale, went to law school to pursue entertainment projects ("Live" shows, not movies) and now dream about being able to visit with-or at the least attend a function freaturing-TONY MAIETTA.
He understands the magic of movies and is one of the few able to share that magic with a new generation.
Thanks, Tony, for helping us feel it, man.
