Beginning The Toledo Street Hockey League, or TSHL, was founded by Mr. Tom Robertson of Toledo, Ohio in 2008. His goal was to provide a "No Checking" Foot and Roller hockey league to the Toledo area. The league began it's play at Joe E. Brown Park, where they renovated the existing tennis court and made it functional street hockey facility. Currently Currently the league is working on renovation a new park, that was given to the league by Mayor Carleton Finkbeiner and the City of Toledo. Ravine Park II is a two tennis court facility that is currently undergoing major changes to both the surface and surroundings. The league is split up into Roller and Foot divisions. The Roller division has two separate tiers of play. One tier is for the higher skilled players of the league, while the lower tier is for the newer teams and those just learning the game.
