Tokyo Dee

Derrick Alexander Stoudymire Jr. (born June 01, 1989), better known by his stage name Tokyo Dee, is an American hip hop recording artist, songwriter and actor from Harlem, New York City. He is best known for his debut EP titled Wolf Szn.
Early Life
Derrick Alexander Stoudymire Jr. was born on June 1, 1989, in New York City. He moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with his grandmother until the age of 6. She gave him the nickname "Dee". He later returned to Harlem to live with his mother in Frederick Samuel's, a public housing tenement.
During his childhood, he was featured in several school plays and musicals for his acting, dancing and singing abilities. However, he chose to focus on basketball and chess .
When he turned 16, he began acting.
On February 02, 2012, he was selected as one of the Top 16 (out of over 1,000 artists) in Hot 97's Who's Next competition, advancing to Round 2.
On March 03, 2012, Tokyo Dee released his debut mixtape titled E.B.T. (Eat Beats Tokyo) on a streaming platform called DatPiff. It was a sampler mixtape where he showcased his lyrics rapping over other artists beats.
In 2013, Tokyo Dee was cast in a reality web-series titled "Greek Code 101" produced by Joed Esperance of dedicated to the "do's and don'ts of fraternity and sorority life".<ref name="gc101" />.
In December 2016, Tokyo Dee released his official debut EP titled Wolf Szn.
Personal Life
Tokyo Dee is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and has held the position of Undergraduate Representative for the 2nd District which covers New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland.
