Football career
Born in Gorinchem, Toby Mulder played in the youth of GJS Gorinchem and RKC Waalwijk. In 2009 he joined RKC's first squad, who had just promoted to Eredivisie, the first tier of Dutch soccer. It relegated a year later. Because of an injury, Mulder did not play much in this team. Among the games he played was a match for the national KNVB Cup that RKC won 1-4 against SC Cambuur in Leeuwarden.
In 2011 he left for Kozakken Boys. In May 2012 he received a yellow card in a cup finals against VV Kloetinge. Kozakken Boys won the cup. A week later, Mulder accidently scored a tying goal against his own team, in a game against RVVH. Kozakken Boys still won. In September 2015 he was injured by supporters of SV Spakenburg. In December 2015 he scored a tying goal against GVVV, in a must win game that Kozakken Boys eventually won. In April 2016 he scored the third goal in Kozakken Boys 0-4 victory against VV UNA. In the summer of 2016 he became captain of Kozakken Boys. At his new club, too, he suffered from injuries.
In 2018, after seven years, Mulder left Kozakken Boys for SteDoCo, playing in the Derde Divisie (fourth tier). Here he suffered several injuries. A year later, he joined ASWH that has just promoted to the Tweede Divisie (third tier).
