Titan Robotics Club

The Titan Robotics Club is a high school robotics club at the based around a FIRST robotics team 492. The goals of the club are to provide activities and learning opportunities to students interested in science and technology, as the does not offer any technical classes in its curriculum.
History
The Titan Robotics Club was started in 2001 as part of a senior project and has continued to participate in the FIRST competition each year. The club has expanded to run a middle school FLL program as well as an FTC program (2009). The Titan Robotics Club continues to seek a greater involvement in the community and offer exciting activities to high schoolers.
Awards
The Titan Robotics Club won the 2006 Portland Regional Chairmans award, the most prestigious award first offers. This award is given to a team that exemplifies FIRST's model team; promoting science in technology in the greater community.
