TIRADE

TIRADE (band) are a British Alternative-rock band that formed in Manchester, England in 2015. The band's line-up consists of vocalist and bassist Jake Tilley, guitarist Josh Pearl, guitarist Alex Young, and drummer Stevo Somerset. Over the course of their short career, the group have toured and gigged heavily since releasing their debut EP 'If I Told You, I'd Have To Kill You', which was released independently in mid-2015; the bands sound is described as Alternative Rock, Pop Punk, Post-Hardcore and Math Rock.
Early Days
The group was formed in early 2015 by Jake Tilley, Josh Pearl and Alex Young, but it was not until November 2015 that the group had formed a stable lineup. TIRADE gigged all over the UK in support of their EP, as well as playing overseas shows in Europe after winning a competition to play a Belgian festival called Burnout Festival at the Musiekodroom; one of Hasselts main music venues.
After almost a year of solid touring, the band went into the studio to record their new single 'Snakes and Social Ladders' with Neil Kennedy of The Ranch Production House. The single was released on all major online music retailers and gave the band a huge boost to their fanbase after having the song featured on Kerrang! Radio with Alex Baker. This single was also released along side a music video; filmed by Boston Manor's lead singer.
The release of TIRADE's new music brought with it a lot more attention, soon after the release of this single the band were on a UK tour supporting One Last Run; a hard-rock band from Manchester. Two months after this TIRADE were back on the road again with Nottingham-based We Are Carnivores for their UK tour.
Between the tours, the band were back in the studio with Neil Kennedy to record their self-titled 2nd EP, the 7-track EP which has not yet been released will feature the single 'Snakes and Social Ladders' as well as 6 other tracks, the planned release date is scheduled to be September/October 2016.
