Timothy J. Meyer (born November 24, 1988) is an American screenwriter, playwright, actor, director, producer and novelist. His screenplay credits include Stall and Safety. Career Early work Timothy J. Meyer began his career as a playwright for the Minnesota Fringe Festival, penning Burning Bridges in 2006 and Adjective in 2008. He also wrote the screenplay for three independent short films in 2010: Hades, Petty Crimes and The Writing, the last of which Meyer also directed. His debut novel Hull Damage was published on June 1, 2012. It ranked #18 on Amazon's Best Sellers List for Science Fiction eBooks. Future projects After meeting Dan Glaser on the set of Pinching Penny (Meyer plays the character of Murphy in the film), the pair teamed up to develop their next feature film Stall. The film is written by Meyer and will be produced and directed by Glaser. The project is currently considering casting, and has a projected late 2012 start date. Pinching Penny lead actor Steven Molony is confirmed in a leading role. Meyer and Glaser also currently have a number of films in various stages of development, including the crime thriller Safety. In 2014, Meyer published a post-apocalyptic short story entitled Battery Low, followed by a cyberpunk short story entitled Share Everything.
