TimeBox Manager is a windows application for managing a project or event where the timeboxing technique is in use. This technique ensures delivery on time and to a high quality by allowing scope changes during the timebox . It is ideally suited for use in Agile Project Management using methodologies such as DSDM. TimeBox Manager uses a graphical "Dashboard" which shows the user important information about the state of the timebox. This includes information such as timebox timeline, percentage of available resource (people) against outstanding timebox tasks, overall loading of the timebox resources and the proportion of essential tasks, ("Musts") see MoSCoW. This is vital for early warning of potential problems with the project and effective Risk Management, leading to successful completion of the timebox. Timeboxing can also be used to manage "buffers" within projects that are being managed using the Critical Chain Project Management method. TimeBox Manager also integrates with MindManager, a visual planning tool used for project planning.
