Time Server Magazine

Time Server Magazine is a free bi-monthly magazine published by the Irish Prison Service at the Midlands Prison in Portlaoise, Ireland. It is researched and written by serving prisoners. It is printed by the Print Unit at the same prison and distributed nationally to all prisoners in Ireland and to Irish prisoners serving sentences overseas. It is published in full colour and also available as a downloadable PDF on internal Irish Prison Service intranets. The magazine was the brainchild of a prisoner who persuaded the Irish Prison Service to go with the idea during 2013 and the inaugural edition was released in October that year.
