Local iQ is a free Arts & Entertainment magazine based in Albuquerque, NM. It was established in April of 2006. Primarily a lifestyle magazine, Local iQ covers Arts, Music, Food & Drink, Film, Travel and other general culture in Albuquerque, Santa Fe and the surrounding area. Billed as "Albuquerque's Intelligent Alternative," Local iQ is printed twice monthly.
Perhaps the most popular issue of the magazine is its Annual Eat! Drink! ABQ! Dining Guide, which publishes in early October of every year just as tens of thousands of visitors arrive to Albuquerque for the city's popular Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta.
