Tim Busse is an American politician, currently the 13th mayor of Bloomington, Minnesota since 2020. He is a member of the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party (DFL). He previously served on the city council from 2011 to 2019. In 2012, he was put on the board of directors of the Bloomington chamber of commerce. While running for mayor, the incumbent mayor Gene Winstead, not running in the election, endorsed him. His main concern is the construction of affordable housing. He is also working on the construction of a new veteran's memorial near the city hall. Education Tim Busse is a graduate of the University of Minnesota. He also attended St.Cloud University from 1983 to 1989. |
