Tibia is one of the oldest and most successful massive multiplayer online Role playing games that's been created in Europe.
The MMORPG game (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) got players from all over the world.
In the game you can explore large and dangerous dungeons and caves to fight some of the many hundred difrence monsters with you're friends or alone.
You can also try solve some of the hard quests and see if you got the skills that's requierd for each quest to a reward.
You can also train up you're skills to get better attack, defence, aiming skills, magic, fishing, and even you're fists.
There are many difrence weapon you can choose. There are allmost a 100 weapons that got it's own spesiel ability.
Some of them requiered high skills to use and others can you just grab and start fighting everything that comes in you're path.
The folowing weapon type you can use are these: Axe, Sword, Club, Distance (Spear,Throwing stars/knifes/stones, bow, crossbow, arbalest and golden bow) Wand/ Rod (A magical staff that only can be used by Sorcerers and druids.) and you're fists.

Ofcorse when you sign in to make you're own account you can join a guild, be on the official forum at www.tibia.com.
When you have creted a account and choisen the vocation it's just to take a server.
There are 74 diferent worlds you can choose about.
Note: Tibia is a free game, there's no need to open you're wallet if you want to play this game ;)

It is 3 diference choises you can take when you are selecting a world. PVP, Non- pvp and pvp enforced.

PVP means you may attack other people as much as you want without getting punished. But beware! If you attack another player you may not enter a safety zone in 1 min. If you kill a person you may not logg out in 15 minnuts (Doesn't mather if you kill 1 or 50 players you still have to wait 15 minnuts).

Non- pvp means its a safe world where no players may attack or kill each others so if you are a beginer in tibia i suggest you to take a non- pvp. How ever you will get you're skills trained if you're chosing pvp non because there you alweys got to watch you're back.

And at the last it is pvp enforced. It may seem like the most fair type of server. There it is a skull system.
When you attack a player you will get a white skull, and that means everybody can attack you without getting a white skull or any punishment without the 1 min safety zone rule. Attacking a white skull will also give you a golden skull over you're head, only you and those who are on you're team may see this skull. A green skull do you get if you are in another persons party.
It can be so many persons in you're party as you wish. Beware! If you are joining another persons party you are free to attack and been attacked by everyone in you're party without getting a skull. Only the team mates in you're team and yourself may see the green skull over you're head. If you kill over 3 people at one day you will get a red skull, and that won't be gone before 1 day. If you kill 5 people in a day you will get red skull for a week. If you kill over 5 people in a day you're skull will last for a month, and so long you got the red skull everyone will be free to attack you without getting any skulls themself.
If you kill over 7 people you will get banned. The bann can last from 1 week to 1 month.

If you are getting banned you will get a criminal record on you're user account at the web site. Only you can see this criminal record because you got to logg in to see it.
If you got a criminal record you may get the chance of searching as a tutor.
Neather can you search as a Game Master.

If you need help there are a own Help channel that's open (In game) 24/7 and there may you ask about anyhing you wonder about, and the tutors (Experienced players that's in the game to help you) will answer you after a short while.
There are also GM and CM. Game Master and Cipsoft Manager. They will help you at any problems you may have but, don't espect to get answer right away. There are not so many Game Masters and they don't got time to answer everybodys problem at the same time so be patient.

Remember to read the rules carefull, because breaking these rules will not be tolereted and a GM may give you a Criminal Record Notice if you're breaking those rules or he may bann you. It depends on how bad the criminal record is.
One of the mainthing to remember is that only 1 person may play 1 one acount, and don't swear or use bad words in the Game-Chat. You may get banned for that to, even if you're joking (Be sure to write that it is a joke then, or GM or CM may miss understand it and bann you) (I've been banned for it myself some few times...).

But the Help Channel can not help you physical, so if you're trapped in a cave and forgot you're rope and can't get up or are stuck in a quest and you're road is blocked by a monster you can't kill you may ask in Game-Chat after help and maybe one of the more skilled player will come and help you. After all there are 250,000 players from all over the world that playes tibia and i'm sure some of them will help you out.

But to start with you will be lvl 0, and start in the island rookard.
Rookard is a little islands for all the players in lvl 0-8. When you get to lvl 8 by killing monsters and gain experience you may go to the Holy Oracle and she will ask you about what vocations you will became (I will come to that leater) and wich city you want to start in.

How ever you don't have to go to mainland as soon as you are lvl 8. Some players stays in rookard to help other players in thier path coming to the mainland or just for thier own reasons.
A well so famous player is "Sunrise". A great player that was the first one to reach lvl 100 in rookard (Belive me, its hard).
I also forgot to mention that when you're creating a acount you may also choice what kind of sex you are (No pervo, Male or Female).
And for those who doesn't know Male-Man. Woman-Female.

And when you finaly reach lvl 8 you may choose one of the 4 folowing vocations.

Knight!
The strongest vocation, with most hitpoints, cap (Can hold more high weighting items) and blocking skills.
If you are choising to be a knight you should deside to train up one of the 3 weapons knight are training thier skills fastes in. Be prepaired to not be dependet on you're mana (The power behind all magical movements. I'm coming back to mana leater)
Axe- The weapon with strongest attack (See away from Ice Rapier because it breaks after 1 hit) and not full so good defence. How ever there are many types of difrence axe so some of them are good in defence, some in attack and some in both.
Club- The weapon that's cheapest to get in the start of the game, since the most chosen weapon is axe and sword. Very usefull if you want to be on the top 100 scores for club fighting since the scores are low and it's not so many people that's using club.
Sword- The most chosen weapon. Reason? Simply because people likes sword. Another reason is that it is the most balanced weapon. Good with attack and good with defence. A good weapon if you should start a "company" as a blocker (Helps lower lvl's on some quests with hard monster. You are blocking the monster while they are attacking it.)
Shield- Every vocation most have a shield (Some weapons request about 2 hands. That means you need both of you're hands to use the weapon so you may not use a shield. It will therfor make you loose more damage.
Shielding is also a trainable skill, and the knight is the best at that subject. Since he got so good cap he can carry the heaviest shield, and therfor the best shield (Well some of the best shield got lower weighs... Maybe that's why they are the best? If you see away from thier high defence). So the reason for that knight is the blocker is that they are training thier shield skills faster and can therfor block much better than thier other vocation.
magic- Knight's and magic isn't the best combo. Knight got the worste magical skills and uses ages to train it up into some lvl's. How ever knight to have some good attack and healing spells that may help them on thier way, but don't take Knight as an vocation if you likes Magic.

You can also chose distance weapon or fist fighting but its very useless.
Fist doesn't got so much attack as the Axe, club and sword.
Distance is very usefull.... If you are a paladin. Knights are not so skilled in distance fighting as the paladins, since the knight may use over 10 times so long time to get one distance lvl than a paladin and is therfor a waste of time.

Paladin!
The vocation with the most balanced hitpoints and mana.
The paladin doesn't got the same cap as a knight but got good enough cap to take with himself ammunition like arrows, bolts, stones, knifes, throwing stars and the most thing that can be throwen at the enemy and still take damage.
Paladin is the vocation that's training thier distance fighting fast.
The good thing with that, is that they can run away from the monster while shooting at it, to avoid the damage the monster may give and they may save alot of money on healing runes (Magical runes that may heal you're hitpoints up).
Paladin's magical skills are quit impressive. They can make runes, they can use attack spells, they can use healing spells, they can make themself invisble for monster's so they can't be attack (Beware! Some monsters may see invisble creatures. Many people have maked that mistake). Paladin can also use magical shield. It means you're using you're mana to cast a shield around you, so when someone attacks you or when you should be supose to loose hitpoints you will loose mana insted. The same can Sorcerer and Druid do.

Sorcerer!
The magical and dangerous vocation!
Sorcerer is been spoken as the most aggressive vocation.
This magical mage is not using any hand weapons as sword, bow and such items (They can use them but thier skills will train slower than it takes for a knight to get distance fighting so been a Mage with axe, sword, club, fist or distance is waste of time), but they are using thier magical and powerfull wands!
There are 5 difrent wands.
Wand of vortex- Lvl 7 or higher is the request.
Wand of Dragonbreath- Lvl 13 or higher is the request.
Wand of decay- Lvl 19 or higher is the request.
Wand of Cosmic Energy- Lvl 19 or higher is the request.
Wand of Inferno- Lvl 33 or higher is the request.
NOTE: These wands are shooting out difrent kind of magic. Energy, death and fire. Beware of hunting some monsters because some monsters may be imun to some or all of these type of attack like: Undead Dragon- Monster type undead- Wand of decay will therfor not take any damage of the monster.
Then you will have to use some attack runes (Runes may be created by Druid, Sorcerer and paladin. There are difrent types of rune. Attack, suport and healing runes, with difrent types of attack. Ice, nature, Death, Fire, and Energy.)
Another thing is that some monster is also imun to physical attacks. So if you're a knight and wants to splitt up a ghost you're axe will just go right through it, so then it will be very usefull to have some runes in you're backpack ready to shoot down the enemy.
The reason for that Sorcerer are the most aggressive vocation is for its spells.
Sorcerer famous for all it's attacking spells. So if you can see an angry sorcerer coming down the road in a very high lvl take cover fast!

Druid!
The vocatoin with most knowledge of the nature and healing.
Druid most be the most friendly vocation.
Since this mage knows all the best healing spells it's great to have it on you're side if you are going to hunt strong monsters or do hard quests. They do also got very effective and strong magical attack spells (Not so strong as Sorcerer, but strong). Druid is a mage just like sorcerer and does therfor not use physical weapons like axe, distance or thier fist (Once again they can, but its a totaly waste).
Druid are using the strong rods and runes to kill thier enemys just like the sorcerer does (Rods/wands can not be available in rookard).
The druid's can choose about these folowing rods:

Snakebite rod- Lvl 7 or higher is the request.
Moonlight rod- Lvl 13 or higher is the request.
Necrotiv rod- Lvl 19 or higher is the request.
Terra rod- Lvl 26 or higher is the request.
Hailstorm rod- Lvl 33 or higher is the request.

All these rod's got thier difret skills just like the Wands do.

Like the snakebite rod uses Nature/Earth attack, and gives a small amount of damage. All wands and rods got distance of 3 sqm.
Hailstorm rod uses ice attack, and gives a much more larger attack damage.

Since some monsters are imun to the folowing type of energy, (You can read about everything you need in this extremely good informated site if you're wondering about... Well quit everything from the monsters hitpoints to the loot they are giving
http://tibia.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page ) so are some monsters very weak to some type of energy. Take for example the Dragons, or Demons (Demon- One of the best and hardest monster in the game). They are Fire (Demon are undead and fire) creatures and will therfor loose extra hitpoints if you are attacking them with a Ice beam spell, attack rune that consist of ice attack, or a ice rod like the Hailstorm or Moonlight.

Knight's can also do the same thing only with thier physical weapons with a little bit help from a premium accounted Sorcerer or druid that got promotion and are lvl 30 or above.

If a knight got a sword he can use a enchanted Small Saphire (that will became a enchanted gem) on his sword and the sword will then get a type of energy. So if you got a enchanted gem (There are 4 difrent enchanted gems you can have. Fire, ice, Earth, Energy) like The Small saphire, the weapon will became a Ice weapon and will then cause extra damage into the creature, and higher extra damage if the creature is weak for the type of energy to. If the monster is imun to the type of energy, it won't have any effect.

But paladin can't enchant any of thier weapons but atlast they can use a Bullseye Potion to increase thier distance and shielding skills with 5 more. The liquid will run out after 10 minnuts so use it with cation because it is very expensive.
The same can knight and mages to. They got Berserk potion and Mastermind potion that will increase thier skills with 5 and it last's the same time. 10 min.

There are also other way's the increase you're skills.
It is also many kinds of difrent rings and necklaces in tibia.
The rings are going out in time and the Necklaces got amount of charges.
Knight's are very lucky on the rings because they are the only vocation who got a ring wich can increase thier skills with 4 while wearing a ring.
Axe ring, sword ring and club ring. All those will increase you're skill in 4 levels and will last for 30 miutes.

But there are loots of other rings for every vocation.
For exampel stealth ring: A ring that lasts for 10 minuts and makes you invisble. Nice to have for small lvl player that's going on a hard quest with hard monsters, or a knight that's out killing a bounche of monsters that can't see invisble creatures.

For mages (Knight and paladin to) there is Life ring and Ring of healing that can help them to gain mana much faster, so they can make runes faster and then earn cash when selling them do other players like knights and paladins. They can also use the runes themself and kill strong monsters to get high value items they can use or sell to players or shop to get money.

Well, that's kinda the basic in tibia (Maybe long verson, if you have been reading this congratulations, you do now know what you need to know if you are going to play tibia.


Tip: If you should start on a world play on world Celesta. Just press a button it stands: Show all worlds and then go into Celesta, even if it stands it is full. You will come in anyway. Then ask for a guy That's named Kim the Fruit, and he will give you all the help that you need and maybe give you a start eq (Armor,legs,boots,helmet,shield and weapon) so you can get a good start.

Another thing: If you're really interested in Tibia and looks at it as a nice game I would advertise you to buy Premium acount to get access to premium spells, cities, quests, promotion and get the abillity to travel with the boat from city to city.
