Thomas R. Liravongsa

Thomas R. Liravongsa (Tom Liravongsa) is an entrepreneur based in Holland, Michigan. At a young age Mr. Liravongsa understood the concept of computer programming and began developing programs for multiple companies. By the age of 11 Thomas was given his first personal computer running windows 3.1 and began understanding and manipulating DOS code in order to hack video games. Since his first program developments he has evolved his understanding of computer programming and applied it into a magnitude of sectors. Including, database developments, online user interfaces, and most importantly algorithmic coding (Quantitive Analysis) for the financial industry.
2008: Thomas Liravongsa formed Holland Global Trading with two partners. A Michigan based Forex fund for private investors, whom primary focus is using Quantitative analysis techniques for the currency market and futures. Thomas holds degrees in business and software. Prior to founding Holland Global Trading, Tom operated a computer programming and marketing business focused in custom programming, web design, database development, media, and general marketing for his clients. In 2007 Tom was introduced to developing trading programs for electronic trading market and began working on programming strategies for options using quantitative analysis techniques (i.e. Algorithmic trading) and eventually saw greater opportunity in Forex.

* Only United States contestant to finish in top ten of world trading competition of 5,000 traders put on by Mig Bank of Switzerland. Placement was achieved by producing a 418% return within 26 trading days. (November 2011)
