Kapp Software Private Limited is an India based financial domain services company with branches in Chennai, Bangalore, Cochin and Kathmandu, Nepal. The company develops software applications for online trading institutions. Its flagship online trading products viz. Nettrader and TWS are used by exchanges and foreign exchange brokerage houses respectively.
History
Kappsoft first launched its client-server based electronic trading platform for Over-the-counter (OTC)/Contract for difference CFD markets as early as 2005. This trading platform along with its risk management platform are now being used by many Forex brokers.
In 2008, The company's first automated electronic futures trading exchange went live. This automated exchange is connected to thousands of client front-ends providing live trading data which enables traders operate over the exchange.
The company is now producing software products related to trading, data management, exchanges, portfolio and risk management. It is targeting institutional trading community and business houses.
Business Model
Kappsoft has three business units - the Development Unit, the design studio “Kappmedia” and the Networking Services division. The Development Unit is responsible for making online trading ECN platforms for exchanges and independent OTC brokerage houses. Kappmedia is largely engaged web design, graphic design, presentation, Search Engine Optimisation, web analytics and printing services.
Kappsoft’s Networking Services division is involved in setting up and maintaining data centres, WAN/LAN and VPN setups, web hosting, email, domain and data centre management. Its 24 hr support desk monitors all setups for internet related issues.

*EDAPT - is an exchange adaptor which provides connectivity between trading front-ends and GTS (Global trade Server).
*GOMS - is an order matching engine for brokerage houses and electronic exchanges.
*MPROBE - is a market surveillance system for online exchanges and brokerage firms.
*DRISK - is a risk management system for financial institutions and brokerage firms.
*Complyte - A compliance tool for brokerage firms and trading institutions.
*Marketwatch - A price quote component for trading platforms.
*KappTradeAssist (TA) - An event based algorithmic trading platform.
