Thomas A Dismukes (October 23, 1926 - August 19, 1996) was a 20th-century post-war U.S. American architect known for developing distinctive custom Mid-Century modern style residential and commercial buildings in California, United States. Mr. Dismukes graduated from the University of Southern California School of Architecture. Born October 23,1926 in Ada, Oklahoma and moved to California in the early 1940s. Thomas Dismukes served in the U.S. Army near the end of World War II. After the war he began to studied architecture at Mt. San Antonio College while working as an architectural draftsman for a Los Angeles Architect, Charles O. Matcham, and later receiving his degree from the University of Southern California.
