Thisisnotashop Gallery, Dublin, is a not-for-profit gallery founded in 2006 by Aideen Darcy.[http://www.ica.org.uk/thisisnotashop+17431.twl] In 2007 Jessamyn Fiore joined the gallery as a co-director, going on to be sole director in June 2009 when Aideen Darcy stepped down as co-director.[http://www.ica.org.uk/thisisnotashop+17431.twl] Thisisnotashop has exhibited works by Irish artists such as Wendy Judge , Gary Farrelly and Robert Carr and established international artists like Gordon Matta-Clark and Fluxus artist Larry Miller . In June 2009 thisisnotashop participated in the X-initiative's 'No Soul For Sale: a Festival of Independents' in New York City . |
