This Allure

This Allure is an American rock/pop group from California, United States. The band's mixture of rock, ambient, progressive, Contemporary R&B and pop influences has made their sound hard to classify, prompting InReview to write, "...This Allure has approached the almost unapproachable ground of originality." Possessing a steady and growing international following, This Allure has gained increased exposure recently through former bandmate Brent Kutzle's membership in Interscope Records multi-platinum artist, OneRepublic.
The group's first release, "This Allure" was originally recorded at Thomas' own "The Apple Room" studio, with Thomas creating and recording every sound on the debut. Loren Ferard officially joined This Allure in 2008.
As of September 2009, This Allure is recording their second release and first full-length album, Young Ones Dream. Current members are Colin Thomas and Loren Ferard. Colin is concurrently working on an independent side project called A Conversation Between Heaven & Earth. Loren is temporarily residing in Colorado writing and recording with Kutzle and OneRepublic. In October, 2009, This Allure began collaborating with former Avril Lavigne drummer, Chris Sanchez.
