Dirty filthy mugs

Dirty Filthy Mugs are an American Punk Rock band from Los Angeles,
California, formed in 2009. The various members have played together in many different bands, including The Gain, Big in Japan, and Viva Hate. Their influences include The Who, AC/DC, The Pogues, and The Toy Dolls
The band, well known for their high energy live show, released their debut E.P., Half Pint on their own label, Brrapp Records in January 2009, in time to play their first show with punk rock legends Dwarves in Long Beach, CA on January 15, 2009.
History
The idea for Dirty Filthy Mugs was concieved in late 2008 after the 15 year reunion brought former bandmates Ace Facial, and Joey T, back together with Matt Wedgley, the former singer of The Force. They soon added former Dragonfire Bassist/Keytarist Timbecile on guitar and concertina, and Swingin' Utters drummer Greg Utter and set about writing the songs that would make up the Half Pint E.P.
Greg's schedule with the Utters quickly became too hectic to have room for both groups, and he was soon replaced with former The Gain and Big in Japan drummer Conk. After a few rehearsals, they went into the studio to record the six song E.P. Half Pint in October, 2008, which was released on January 14, 2009 in time for their first show with The Dwarves in Long Beach, CA.
On August 27, 2009, they released their second E.P. Another Round as well a music video for the E.P.'s title track, Another Round. For the music video, the band chose to use the electric version of the song instead of the acoustic version, which appears on the E.P.
The E.P.s and videos caught the attention of DC-Jam Records, a label known for signing high profile groups such as Fishbone. Aggression, TSOL and JFA signed the band in October, 2009. Quickly after the signing, a 7" single for the video version of Another Round was released in late October, 2009 as a promo for the Mugs' upcoming full length album All Yobs In, which was released by DC-Jam on March 21, 2010.
The album was well received by critics, and has been in heavy rotation in a variety of college and internet radio stations including KCSF 90.9FM and . Recently Fuel TV and ESPN have both licensed the rights to songs off of All Yobs In to include in their television programming.
The Mugs promoted All Yobs In with live shows throughout California, and through the All Yobs East tour, which took the band to the east coast for the first time. The tour concluded at the Skatopia American Skate Festival in Rutland, Ohio, where the band performed with such legends as Meat Puppets, Youth Brigade, D.I., and Gwar.
After the tour, the Mugs hit the studio to write their second album Up In the Downs. During the recording sessions, the Mugs released a 7" single and video for the song Bodkin Downs on BlankTV's new record label Patient Zero Records. Up in the Downs is scheduled to be released in early 2011.
