Dr. Theodore Theodoropoulos (born April 12, 1970). Gas & LNG Expert with International reputation in large scale energy projects RasGas, Qatar Petroleum , State of Qatar .
His major projects are Ras Laffan Liquefied Natural Gas Company Limited, RasGas , the LNG Adriatic Terminal, the Dolphin Gas Project, Qatar Gas 4, , Petronet LNG terminal at Dahej, Gujarat (India) and many other in GCC , Middle East and Asia.
He received his PhD in Finance from University of Athens, M&A in Energy Project Finance from Harvard Business School, his MBA in Financial Management from KINGSTON HULL Business School UK and B.A. degree in Economics from , Greece. Dr. Theodore started his career from Merrill Lynch and he became Management Executive of many International Organizations WB, OTE, LAIKI, OPEC, QAPCO, QATAR PETROLEUM Group and Executive Member of the European Management Association. He also served as BOD Economic Consultant of the First Arab Energy Bank, Bank of Bahrain & Member of Qatar Foundation, Honorable International Committee of Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF) . As an international speaker, as a representative of Qatar Petroleum, in Natural Gas, LNG, Energy Economics and Project Finance. Dr. Theodore breathes new style into audiences especially in Europe and Middle East with his enlightening perspectives, humorous observations and practical business cases. He is a Member of EACES UK, the Harvard Business School Economic Association, ECU Association, the Arab Economy Association, and the Institute of Economic Studies & Institute of Management in UK.
Dr. Theodore Theodoropoulos is the author of several acclaimed books: "Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals - The Secret Word of Energy" by Borders and McGraw-Hill, "Stock Exchange Investments", "Euro: The Big Challenge", "Capital Markets Strategy & IPO’s", including the international papers and articles: "Induced Innovation and Energy Prices", "Pricing and Mergers: A Portfolio Approach", "The Four Dimensions of Economic Integration", "Financial Development & Investment Market Integration", "The Modern Theory of an Economic Union", "The DCF Investment Model for Venture Capitals". His book "Stock Exchange Investments" 1999, was one of the top-three most influential economic books in Europe.

- Dolphin Gas Project
The Dolphin Gas Project is the natural gas project of the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Oman. It is the GCC's first cross-border refined gas transmission project and the largest energy-related venture ever undertaken in the region.
- Qatargas 4
The project QG4 involved the construction of a new LNG mega-train (Train 7), similar to Qatargas 2 and Qatargas 3 with a production capacity of 7.8 MTA.
