The ' game' is essentially an adaptation and exploitation of the famous internet encyclopedia so that you are able to game or race against another user to get from a certain articale to another, chosen completely at random, only by clicking the blue reference links. The game is usually played between two people in the same room, deciding on 2 words, which have no link and then starting the game, the first person to get to the page and shout then wins the game. As in many schools, internet filters mean that it is impossible for children to play each other on specially made internet games, they turn on to www. .org because of its ease of use and lack of internet aplications to keep it running. As it is not very popular or purpose made, there are no official rules to the game, other that you can only use the internal links. Adaptations of the game There are many adaptations of the game, some of them included are: - Making checkpoints which the players have to pass through whilst getting to the main page, sometimes this may help but most of the time they are used to make the game last longer - Playing against players over the internet, comunicating using methods suc as msn or skype, of course this may lead to cheating as player can just pretend they are ther, so to combat this, rules such as describing your route are put in place
