The Snakes (psychobilly band)

The Snakes are an Italian psychobilly band formed in 2004 in Milan, Italy.
Biography
The Snakes started their musical career in 2004 with the first line-up named "Screaming Vibrators" , they recorded the first EP in 2005 and played using this name until summer 2006, during these first years they had Andrea Rock as a drummer (now frontman of Andead), Fax and Liz Delizious. In the occasion of the first Meteors gig at Transilvania live in Milan an idea came to P. Paul Fenech and The Snakes minds, about recording some tracks at his own new studio Mad Dog Studios. In 2008 the band recorded the first album Mondo Serpe branded Mad Dog Records, released on 20 December 2008.
The Snakes in a short period started to let their name be well known to the European underground audience touring and playing with bands such as The Meteors, The Boys, TV Smith, Peter and the Test Tube Babies, The Members, Demented Are Go, P. Paul Fenech Solo, Frenzy, Quakes, Long Tall Texans and Caravans. In 2014 the band released the LP Magik & Poison, branded The Meteors P. Paul Fenech's Mutant Rock Records.
After a time of inactivity, in 2018 The Snakes started playing again alongside bands like The Boys and The Meteors in festivals like Stomping OTMAPP with the following lineup: Andrea Cannella (Cinnamon) on drums, Giovanni Ferlita (Finezza) on electric bass, Marcelo Bertozzo on guitar and the founding vocalist Carlo.
