The Slightlys

The Slightlys is a Los Angeles band made up of Finneas O'Connell, lead singer and guitar, Robby Fitzpatrick, lead and rhythm guitar, Darius Dudley II, background vocals bass guitar and violin, and Drummer David Marinelli. Their genre in Unapologetically Catchy, and they perform original music written by the band members (mostly Finneas).

In the last two years, they have dominated Los Angeles Battles of the Bands, winning the Nokia Grammy Foundation Battle of the Bands in 2013 and 2014, the Burbank High School Battle of the Bands, the Hollywood House of Blues High School Battle of the Bands, and most recently, Rusty's Static Beach Emerging Artists Battle of the Bands. They were a finalist in the 2013 Los Angeles County Fair Battle of the Bands, and appeared at the 2014 Warped Tour in California. Their drummer, David Marinelli, was a Finalist in the Hollywood Guitar Center Drumoff in 2014.
They have appeared on a Television pilot for California Blu, and their music can be heard on the soundtrack of "Life Inside Out" and the ABC Family television show "Switched at Birth".

In 2014, they raised over $4000 for their favorite charity at Children's Hospital in Los Angeles.
Their name, "The Slightlys" is a reference to one of the Lost Boys in Peter Pan, who 'had a talent for music; he is described as cutting whistles and flutes from the branches of trees and dancing to tunes he creates himself.'
