The Shenanigators

The Shenanigators is a ska band based in Libertyville, Illinois. They have gained local popularity by playing many local venues, and the Lake County Battle of the Bands. They released their debut album entitled You Can't Steal Third From The Dugout on June 4, 2008.

As of 2008, their lineup includes Kirsten Clemens on trombone, Kurt Close on trumpet and vocals, Matthew Hans Karnstedt on tenor and bari sax, John Klaess on trumpet, Austin Lutter on bass and vocals, Geoff "Gpo" Revis on alto sax, and Corey Richardson on guitar and vocals, and Artie Snow on drums.

In the Spring of 2008, John Klaess had to take medical leave from playing because of complications and surgery on his lip. This caused the band to employ their high school band director Dustin Helvie and longtime friend Jamie Wozniak on both their album and subsequent shows. The Shenanigators also credit Steve Turchi as part of "Gang Vocals" on their album.
