The Shalom Show on television

The Shalom Show on TV, is a public affairs television program that focuses mainly on Israel and Jewish life subject matter with cultural, educational and entertaining programming especially of interest to the North American Jewish community. The show historically promotes Israel and Jewish life and a better understanding of Israel’s achievements and its hopes for peace in a volatile part of the world. The need to promote Israel is a cause that today is widely regarded as more essential than ever. The show features magazine style specials and in-depth interviews with Israeli and American leaders in politics, business, technology, medicine, education, culture, entertainment and other topics, generally focusing on positives in and the achievements of the State of Israel, its people, in addition to Christian and other friends, sharing a vision of peace and progress.
The Shalom Show is now on the air nationwide in the United State of America on the JLTV network
Recent guests on the Shalom Show include Senior Pastor Bob Coy of the Calvary Chapel, Dr. Abraham Fischler, Congressman Allen West, and Stan Chesley.
The Shalom Show first aired in South Florida in 1979 on local broadcast stations every Sunday, produced on location in the USA and in Israel. The show’s host Richard Peritz is recognized as one of the premier broadcast interviewers in America and has conducted hundreds of exclusive interviews and produced numerous special TV productions and short films.
The show’s host and founder, Richard Peritz comments: “It has been a privilege for me to host The Shalom Show since 1979 and I’ve had the pleasure and honor of interviewing distinguished leaders such as Benjamin Netanyahu, Shimon Peres and many other Israeli and American leaders in business, education and other fields. We now look forward to reaching an increasing national audience and more effectively sharing positive and enlightening in-depth programs that appeal to a broad spectrum of viewers, including members of all faiths”. Richard Peritz was born in London England and moved to Israel as a child and worked ten years for Israeli Educational Television, IETC, from 1968 until 1978, whereupon he moved to Florida with the intention of producing educational programs in the USA.
