The Rhodes Project

The Rhodes Project is a charity, registered in England and Wales, which aims to advance the public acceptance of the notion of female success. It funds research and publications on the subject of Gender equality and also seeks to increase awareness on this subject through lectures and, more recently, social media. The Rhodes Project began as the first in-depth study of female Rhodes scholars with a findings report website that went live in 2009. Articles considering the content of that study as well as the work of current Rhodes Project researchers are published there , and are also reproduced and celebrated by other publication sites with similar focuses.
The Rhodes Project also regularly participates in a coalition devoted to increasing the public discussion around Work Life Balance, sponsored by WorldatWork, and showcased on the Huffington Post every October during National Work and Family Month.
Founded by Ann Olivarius, a member of one of the first classes of Rhodes Scholars, the initial report was envisioned as a response to comments and publications downplaying the success of female scholars.
