The Quote Palace The Quote Palace is a website dedicated to quotes from various places, including video game quotes, literary quotes and quotes from some of the users. It was founded in January of 2008 and has been operating ever since. History When the Quote Palace first began, there were two people, Aldrich and Jeff who wanted to make a site where people from their local school district in Michigan could read quotes and talk to people and communicate with other students. But first, they needed some help, so they got two of their closest friends to help them. Jeff then created 'Beta 1' as its referred to today, that was commented on, "Since we had the first version of TQP done, we saw a website with no style sheet and barely any security was not going to do the job correctly." They then stated completely rewriting the site that is now called 'Beta 2', the version that is currently used today. This site consisted of tighter security, a basic chat box, games, a simple version of the site, and more. Future The next major version of The Quote Palace, 'Beta 3' codenamed, "The Social Butterfly" is scheduled to be completed in February '09. Since the staff at the site have not released a preview of the new version, the overall look of the website is unknown, but the content of the site will include user pages similar to My Space, but will only be for people local to their towns and schools.
