The International Police Square Club is a Freemasonry organisation formed to bring together members of law enforcement agencies and to promote fraternal and social interaction among Masons who are police officers. History The club was organized and held its first meeting October 6, 1926 and was incorporated on February 17, 1942. The first president of the club was the late Chief of Police, Philip Bell of Kearny, New Jersey. Campaigns Today it has gone much further than in 1926. It now has a bulletproof-vest campaign, which raises money, donated by citizens throughout the State and the club thens donate new top-of-the-line vests to officers whose departments do not supply them and have to pay for the vests on their own. The club also raises funds for other charities, such as its own "Air Aid" motorcycle run, which provides funds to pay medical bills of children whose parents are sometimes overwhelmed with the high cost of medical care. The club still takes care of its own when needed in extreme cases.
