THE PERILS AND DANGERS OF THIS NIGHT (Virgin books - 2008) This is Stephen Gregory's fourth novel and tells the story of 'Alan Scott', a 12-year old pubil at Foxwood manor who gets left behind at the end of term, and has to spend Christmas with headmaster Dr Kemp and his wheelchair-bound wife. The tranquility is interrupted, however, by the arrival of a cocky ex-pupil and his girlfriend, the former of who is obviously harbouring a dark past which is slowly revealed to the reader.
