The Old Reliable Press is an American publisher founded in 1954. Since 2011, its senior editor has been Michael McGrinder. The firm took its "name from and honors" the Old Reliable Theatre Tavern. The mission of the press is to "... to publish and preserve some of the more significant works from early Off-Off, and to make them readily available to the world." The emphasis has been on plays that did not find their way into the theatre mainstream, even though a few of the represented playwrights have had Broadway productions, such as William M. Hoffman and Robert Patrick. Examples of plays publisher by the Old Reliable Press include F...! and Drinking at the Falls.<ref name="Nelson" /> Notes and references
