The noc list

Overview
'The Noc List' is the title of a Belfield FM radio show broadcasting in Dublin and over the internet at http://www.belfieldfm.ie

Background
The 'Non-official_cover list', is an irish radio show and project; produced and presented by 'Ross Foley' and 'Shane Mc Loughlin'. The aim of the show was to broadcast 'what’s been forgotten and ignored by radio'. The show aimed to fulfil several criteria untypical of other radio shows:
1. Play tracks from beginning until end.
2. To have a flow to the tracks being played.
3. To try and incorporate genres from across the spectrum in each show.
4. To have a progression in the flow of the tracks.
5. To air artists not being given radio airplay.
6. To rediscover tracks from decades gone by.
7. To showcase remastered, reedited or remixed tracks.

The format of the show loosely starts off with more current indie, folk and rock leaning music and progressively moves on to electronic, disco, rap and old school classics. Not your standard format for a radio show and not an easy task in the making! Ground rules for the show are that we will always play tracks from start to finish ( usually in groups of three), then banter or lack thereof...
