The Mostar Diving Club

The Mostar Diving Club is a band led by composer and lead singer Damian Katkhuda, formerly of Obi. Other band members have included Vicky Osterberg, Will Worsley, and Michael G. Moore. The band name comes from the traditional activity of young men in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina: jumping from the Stari Most bridge into the Neretva river twenty meters below; Katkhuda's father's family comes from Mostar. The band was formed in 2008, and has released three albums: Don Your Suit of Lights (2008), Triumph of Hope (2013), Horizontal Hotel (2015), and Here Comes Joy (2018). Their music has been featured in commercials for Visa and Honda, an episode of the television series Grey's Anatomy, and the soundtrack to the film Waiting for Forever. |
