The Last Page of the Internet is an Internet meme. There exist several web pages on the Internet which claim to be "the last page of the Internet." Usually a "last page of the Internet" contains no links; they are created to make the joke that, from that page, you can not go forward, you can only go back. In a similar vein is which is not only the end of the internet, but ostensibly allows you to turn the whole internet off when you are done by the click of a mouse. A parody of this joke is the first page of the Internet, while the recent Middle of the Internet seems a serious attempt to produce a self-stabilizing page, capable of constant adjustments, in order to remain in the center of the World Wide Web, however the page simply contains an animated gif image, so this is also a joke. There are numerous pages claiming to be the "last page of the internet". However, none honestly can be, as the internet is not a linear sequence of pages. See Also
