The Judge Group is a professional services firm headquartered in Wayne, Pennsylvania. The company offers technology, talent, and learning solutions delivered through a network of more than 35 offices in the United States, Canada, China, and India.
Services
The Judge Group provides three main types of services: talent solutions, learning solutions, and technology solutions.
Judge Talent Solutions provides contract & contract-to-hire, direct placement, flexible staffing options, and contingent workforce solutions across all levels of seniority, with a focus on IT, healthcare, engineering, finance, life sciences, manufacturing and supply chain.
Judge Learning Solutions offers training services, including instructor-led training, eLearning development, custom content solutions, microlearning solutions, electronic medical records training & support, and organizational change management.
Judge Technology Solutions provides insight, consulting, and services around all aspects of technology including business and IT strategic road mapping, mobile solutions, application development and integration, infrastructure, Veeva implementation & integration, A/V collaborative solutions, and PMO, DBA and CIO as a service.
The Judge Group provides these services across multiple industries including financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, biopharma, energy, government, manufacturing, supply chain, hospitality, and higher education.
History
The Judge Group was founded in 1970 by Martin E. Judge Jr. in Northeast Philadelphia on a $2,000 loan from his father; and was originally conceived as a permanent placement staffing company. In 1982, Judge Computer was started as a service company for schools and businesses. In 1986 Judge Technical Staffing was formed to enter into the contract staffing market and in 1988, Judge Imaging Systems was started as a document management and imaging re-seller and solutions company.
The 1990s saw The Judge Group take an aggressive expansionist stance. The company would acquire DataImage Inc. of Hartford, Connecticut, Systems Automation in Boston, Massachusetts, and Berkeley Training based in Philadelphia, PA.
After seven years, Martin E. Judge Jr. and a management partnership would purchase outstanding shares of the company and go private.
In 2006, The Judge Group launched the Judge Consulting Group and in 2008 started Judge Unified Communications to expand its IT solution offering. The company partnered with a U.S./China outsourcing company to create JudgeOrchestrall in 2010. A year later, The Judge Group bought majority share in JudgeOrchestrall and realigned the business as Judge China. 2014 saw The Judge Group acquire Keystream Inc., a Toronto based firm that specializes in providing Information Technology (IT) staffing and consulting in Canada. They would launch Judge India in September 2016, opening a location in Noida, India.
October 2016 saw The Judge Group relocate its corporate headquarters to Wayne, PA.
