The International South Korean Text Shortening System of Seoul (ISKTSS) is a fairly well known text shortening system used by foreigners in Korea. When writing a text on a korean cell phone, only 80 characters can be used. This demands a system to be able to fit all the text in one message. Therefore this system was founded. It is mostly used by students at the Seoul National University (SNU) because of its big campus.
