The Houses of Love is a romance novel written by young author, Christopher T. Henderson, which was published on Lulu.com. This book is a spin-off of J.K. Rolwoing's sucessful book series, Harry Potter, and features many of the book's characters who are now all grown up. Plot The book centers around a sweet and nature-loving young girl named Jane Harrison who's parents tell her she is a witch on the day of her thirteenth birthday. She then gets shipped off to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where many of the old students are now professors including the great and famous Harry Potter who is the now the headmaster. While on the Hogwarts Express Jane meets a handsome boy named Steven Grove, who's never had one friend and always keeps to himself, but then Jane comes into his life and starts to come out of his shell. The two soon start to develop romantic feelings for each other and not long after they confess into each other, unfortunately Jane is sorted into Gryffindor and Steven is sorted into Slytherin, and they both know how the Gryffindors and Slytherins hate each other, so to avoid harsh judgment from their classmates they keep their romance a secret, a nod to William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, and have secret dates in Moaning Myrtle's bathroom, but they soon discover keeping a secret is more difficult than it seems.
