The Gelboys is a Filipino Rock and roll band formed in 1985 in Quezon City, in was schooled in Maryknoll College.Their released an album called “The Gelboys” in 1986 with 8 songs. Albert Villanueva mentioned that he has cousins named Randy, Joey & Robin Concepcion who were members of the Gelboys band in the 1980s. Joey Concepcion, the bass guitarist of the band died. Gelboys also TV appearances such as , , , GMA Supershow, , & Student Canteen. Influences Their influences included Chuck Berry, Stray Cats, John Travolta, Elvis Presley, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, and Frank Sinatra.
